This page is meant as an informative resource about the COVID-19 Pandemic.
As last officially reported by the Honourable, Dr Zwelini Mkhize, Minister of Health of the Republic of South Africa, on Monday, March 16th, 2020, South Africa has 62 confirmed cases of infection of the COVID-19 Virus.
On March 15th, 2020 the president of the Republic of South Africa, His Excellency, Mr Cyril Ramaphosa, announced that the country would be under a state of emergency.
It is important to note that simple tasks such as practicing good hand hygiene and social distancing can have a great affect on the spread of infectious pathogens such as the COVID-19 virus.
For the latest statistics, please see the World Health Organisation and your local health departments, which I will do my best to include on this page.
For South Africa, please visit The Department of Health website.
I urge everyone who reads this to take care of themselves, and each other.
